Benefits of the Spanish Immersion program
At Wyndham Central College students in the Spanish Immersion program explore a rich curriculum developed to enhance their linguistic skills and promotes global citizenship, with exciting opportunities such as touring the vibrant streets of Spain.
Mathematics, Science and Humanities are taught with an increasing degree of Spanish, providing students with a high level of language proficiency, linguistic skills, inter-cultural understanding, personal enrichment and challenge while mastering subject content from other disciplines.
After Year 10, students have the opportunity to continue their Spanish studies at the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) level. Additionally, the College maintains a strong partnership with Madrid’s prestigious Gredos San Diego, further enriching our immersive educational experience.
The primary goals of the SIP model are the following:
-
The development of thinking skills
-
